Over VND 14.5 billion spent on supporting localities in Covid-19 prevention and control

Upon support resources from  businesses, agencies, organizations and individuals for the local Covid-19 disease prevention and control, provincial  Fatherland Front Committee (FFC)’s Relief Board has so far carried out the second spending procedures for relevant localities and units to realize Covid-19 prevention and control with a total amount of VND 14.52 billion.

Particularly, provincial FFC’s Relief Board spent VND 8 billion for the first phase, including VND 3 billion for Tan Uyen town, VND 2.5 billion for Thuan An city, VND 1.5 billion for Di An city and VND 1 billion for Thu Dau Mot city. In the second phase, the Relief Board will spend VND6.52 billion for the Steering Committees for Covid-19 prevention-control in districts, towns and cities and provincial Centers for Disease Control to support tracing, isolation, testing, propaganda in medical isolation, blockage areas...

In addition to cash, provincial FFC’s Relief Board also received support in terms of medical supplies from units, organizations, enterprises and donors over the past time. Provincial FFC has coordinated with provincial Department of Health, Center for Disease Control and Red Cross Society to allocate these support resources to isolation areas and hospitals in order to promptly support people and anti-Covid-19 forces in the province.
