Over VND 38 million donated to a case hit by workplace accident

Phu Giao district’s Red Cross Society has just coordinated with donors to visit, encourage and give money for Nguyen Minh Trung hit by a workplace accident. He was born in 1993 and is currently staying at a lodging facility in Vinh Hoa commune’s Vinh An hamlet.

Trung's family has a very difficult situation. After being injured at work, he lost a leg and underwent many surgeries to treat his wound at a cost of over VND 200 million. In order to share and encourage Trung during the treatment process, the district’s Red Cross Society connected and mobilized donors to support him VND 36.1 million.

In addition, the district’s Red Cross Society extracted VND 2 million from its fund to support Trung. After giving the first round of money, the district’s Red Cross Society will further call for organizations and individuals to raise money for him to treat his wound and install a prosthetic leg.
