Over VND 4.5trillion spent on power projects

Binh Duong Power Company has just said that in the first 5 months of 2022, the demand for electricity in businesses increased again, due to the recovery of socio-economic activities after Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, investing in the construction and renovation of the power grid to ensure sufficient, safe and continuous electricity supply is always concerned by the power sector.

According to leader of the company, it is expected that the total capital for investment in the construction of 110kV and medium-low voltage power grids in the period of 2022-2025 is over VND 4.5 trillion, including more than VND 1.19 trillion in 2022. In addition, the National Power Transmission Corporation is investing in the 220kV-500kV power grid in the province, including one 500kV power grid project and six 220kV power grid projects with total investment of over VND 3 trillion.
