Over VND 6.5 billion spent on supporting workers with extremely difficult circumstances

As of late September, 2022, provincial support fund for workers with extremely difficult circumstances promptly assisted 702 cases with an amount of more than VND 6.5 billion.

This fund is used to support the local workers who unfortunately fall into difficult circumstances such as suffering from fatal diseases, being hit by labor accidents, occupational diseases, etc. Depending on each situation, provincial Labor Union will use the fund to support employees with the level of between VND4 million and VND10 million per case.

The support fund for workers with extremely difficult circumstances was established by provincial Labor Union in 2020. Over the past time, the fund received contributions by units, businesses, individuals, and banks in the province…in order to build up a strong fund, continuing to taking care of employees.
