Over VND 612 billion donated to Covid-19 prevention and control

Since the launching date, the Relief Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province has received donations and registered support the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic from more than 700 organizations, individuals and businesses in and around the province at a total amount of more than VND 612 billion. Of these, the total amount of money received by the Relief Committee and registered for donations is more than VND 273 billion; total value of converted materials is VND 339 billion.

Among the received items, there have been many medical equipment and supplies that have promptly supported and effectively served the province's Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control. In addition, the Relief Committee has also received nearly 190,000 social security gifts and over 1,400 tons of goods, necessities, vegetables, fruits and foods from localities, organizations, businesses and benefactors in and outside the province to support people and workers in difficult accommodation and forces on duty on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in the province.

From the source of support for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic (excluding the support for buying Covid-19 vaccines), up to now, the Relief Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province has spent over VND 127 billion to carry out activities related to Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in the province.
