TDM city’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) has just organized its 17th plenary meeting to reviewed 2013’s activities and implement 2014’s action program.

In 2013, TDM city’s FFC continued improving its operational forms, sped up education and mobilization of people from all strata to well realize the Party and State’s policies, laws; reinforced and brought into full play the strength of national great unity bloc. People from all strata also actively responded movements launched by the city’s FFC, contributing to fulfilling the local targets on socio-economic development.

TDM city’s FFCs at all levels last year mobilized VND1.586bln for the local Fund for the Poor and built 33 great unity houses with a total expense of VND1.125bln.

They also continued implementing the campaign of “The entire people build up a cultural lifestyle in residential quarters. As a result, there were 41,641 households recognized as “cultural households” or 94.13% of total; 81 out of 118 quarters and hamlets recognized as “cultural quarters and hamlets” or 69.79% of total; 1,575 lodging facilities winning the title of “cultural lodging facilities” or 95.39% of total.
