Over VND1.8billion in employment loan disbursed

Over March 19, Thuan An town-based branch of the Bank for Social Policies disbursed more than VND1.8billion in employment loan for 36 households and VND80million for 2 households escaping poverty.

It is expected that in the remaining 9 months of the year, the branch will disburse additional VND30billion for loan programs in favor of poor households, near-poor households, students, clean water-environment, job creation…

In 2018, the branch disbursed more than VND141.6billion for 2,954 poor and policy beneficiary families. The branch’s total outstanding loans reached more than VND272.6billion with more than 5,454 borrowers. The loan helped the local people get jobs, approach social services and reach sustainable poverty reduction.
