Over VND10bln raised for Hoang Sa, Truong Sa

In response to an appeal for supporting the program of “Sentimental attachment towards Hoang Sa (Paracel), Truong Sa (Spratly) by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, provincial Labor Union has so far raised more than VND10bln for the program from trade unionists and civil servants.

Of the total figure, provincial Labor Union has sent VND5bln to the Lao dong “Golden Heart” Fund. For the remainder, the local Trade Unions at all levels have also organized delegations to visit and support localities with many fishing trade unions, Vietnamese maritime police and fisheries surveillance forces.

Provincial Labor Union has also decided to honor and give bonuses of more than VND34mln for 37 collectives and individuals for their enthusiastic response to the program.
