Over VND11.2billion spent on helping women in economic development

In 2016, Phu Giao district’s Women’s Union considered and disbursed VND11.26billion in loan for 3,657 members; continued effectively maintaining 141 loan rotating groups with more than VND3.4billion, 13 saving groups with more than VND360million, 64 credit groups from the local branch of the Bank for Social Policies of Vietnam with approximately VND3billion…
The district’s Women’s Union also helped 253 households get more than VND3.2billion from many other resources with total outstanding loans as of late 2016 amounting to more than VND59.2billion.
