Over VND11.44billion spent on supporting farmers

Since 2016, Phu Giao district’s Farmers’ Associations at all levels have mobilized more than VND375 million for the local Support Fund for Farmers, bringing the total fund till now to more than VND11.44billion. The total outstanding loans of the fund as of June 30, 2017 reached more than VND11.27billion with 471 borrowers.

The district’s Farmers’ Association has also coordinated with the local branch of the Bank for Social Policies to disburse preferential loans for members. So far, the total outstanding loans managed by the district’s Farmers’ Associations at all levels were more than VND79.12billion with 4,475 borrowers…
