Over VND12billion from Phu Giao’s Farmer Support Fund disbursed

Over the past five years, Phu Giao district’s Farmers’ Associations at all levels jointly considered and disbursed more than VND12billion from the local Farmer Support Fund for 523 members to develop homebased business under the movement of “Farmers helping each other in economic development”. VND850million from many other sources was also disbursed for more than 500 members.

In addition, they mobilized firms, agents in agricultural services, well-off households…to provide needy members with support in terms of capital, nurslings, breeding animals, agricultural materials, animal feed, fertilizer, working days…with a total value of more than VND25billion. This contributed to assist 1,992 local farming households rise up out of poverty.
