Over VND22billion spent on taking care of policy beneficiaries
Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has just reported on the results of implementation of activities on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2018).
Accordingly, the whole province held get-togethers; donated gifts, gratitude houses and saving books to 58,257 policy beneficiaries with more than VND22billion from the central and local State budget. Districts and communes in the province also mobilized donors to offer gifts to 3,559 revolutionary contributors with a total cost of more than VND1.2billion; provided free medical check-up and medicine for policy beneficiaries with a total cost of VND164million.
On this occasion, districts, towns and TDM city also built and upgraded 7 gratitude houses; donated 29 saving books worth VND35million to revolutionary contributors..
