On Feb. 7, the provincial People's Committee office said that on Tet holiday 2014 despite difficulties in 2013, the provincial administration maintained amount of Tet expenditures like 2013's Tet holiday.

Of this, VND3.544bil was from central budget and VND187.258bil from local budget and VND87.563bil from mobilized sources. Additionally, the provincial administration launched and completed gift visits to poor people and children, earmarked VND50,471bil to assist needy workers and spent over VND3.4bil to grant 6,900 gifts to underprivileged migrant workers.
