Over VND34bln raised to social charity activities

Provincial Red Cross Society mobilized organizations and individuals to contribute more than VND34bln for social charity activities in the first half of 2012.
Particularly, the campaign of “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address” offered regular help of VND2.1bln to more than 6,000 needy people. The whole society also mobilized donors to award 1,500 scholarships worth VND579mln plus learning tools worth VND140mln to poor-but-excellent pupils under the program of “Offering help to poor-but-excellent pupils”…
