Over VND4billion raised for the poor

Under the campaign of “Day for the poor”, Bau Bang district mobilized enterprises, officials, civil servants and people from strata to raise more than VND4.1billion for the local Fund for the Poor over the past five years.
It is known that the fund was used to construct 41 “great unity” houses worth more than VND2.6billion; support 205 sets of chairs and tables worth VND125million for poor pupils; provide free medical check-up for disadvantaged people…
