Over VND500mln spent on charity activities

 To celebrate the upcoming National Seminar for the Propaganda of Faith in Binh Duong province, provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board visited and presented gifts worth VND200,000 each to 396 members of the societies for the blind in Di An, Thuan An and TDM town (photo).

 The above gifts were funded by Buddhist followers at Chau Thoi pagoda. Since the 2011 Tet holiday, provincial Buddhist Sangha has also donated gifts to 1,468 poor people with a total expense of VND503mln.
