P&G Vietnam Ltd. grants scholarships to excellent-but-poor students

P&G Vietnam Ltd. yesterday granted 150 scholarships to local excellent-but-poor students. Each scholarship is worth of VND600,000 and consists of 20 notebooks. This is the third year the company and the local Labor Union jointly grant scholarships to needy students.

Over the past 13 years, the company has offered 1,080 scholarships and 19,600 notebooks worth over VND600mil.

Addressing the scholarship ceremony, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Van Nhi applauded the company’s good deed and asking that the company and Labor Union should continue implementing the program in a bid to socialize work of children education and care.
