Party Committee of Tan Uyen Town to make effort, determination and takes action

Entering the year 2021, the first year of the 2020-2025 tenure, Tan Uyen Town Party Committee determine, make more effort, and take more drastic actions, propose solutions to lead the successful implementation of political tasks.

Socio-economic status develops well

Assessing the results of socio-economic development, securing national defense and security and building political system in 2020, Nguyen Van Danh, Secretary of the town Party Committee, said that 2020 was a difficult year affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, but the town's results were very encouraging. Although many indexes are low compared to the proposed targets, socio-economic status of the town has remained stable and maintained its growth. The quality of social security, health, culture and education continued to be heightened. The prevention and control of epidemic was directed and implemented, especially plans for controlling and preventing Covid-19 were carried out seriously and effectively, ensuring both epidemic prevention control and economic development.

Namely, socio-economic areas continued to develop quite comprehensively. The average growth rate of industries was 13% compared to 2019. The value of industrial production and construction is estimated at VND26,945 billion, up 10.2% compared to 2019, the value of trade and services is estimated at VND12,720 billion, up 20% compared to 2019. Per person income by GRDP was VND146 million/person/year, an increase of 10.6% compared to 2019.

For the construction of the political system, the entire Party actively performed tasks to successfully implement Party Resolution of the town in 2020, contributing to the completion of objectives and tasks of the 2015-2020 period. Inspection and supervision within the Party was carried out with focus, in accordance with actual requirements of localities and units. The mass mobilization work of political system and activities of Fatherland Fronts, unions continued to have many good changes. Patriotic emulation movements, building cultural life, taking care of material and spiritual life of the people were effectively implemented.

To perform "dual" task

According to Nguyen Van Danh, entering 2021, which is the first year of the term 2020-2025, it is predicted that the situation in the world and the country would still have many difficulties and challenges. Tan Uyen Town Party Committee determine, make more effort, and take more drastic actions, propose solutions to lead the successful implementation of political tasks.

Namely, the town Party continues performing well the "dual" task, both effectively preventing Covid-19, and making efforts to restore and stimulate socio-economic development; implementing comprehensively, effectively supporting policies of the Government. The town focuses on removing difficulties, speeding up the progress of compensation, ground clearance and construction of projects in the area, especially key projects. Along with that, the town will strengthen state management of construction order and urban areas to thoroughly solve problems of spontaneous housing, construction not according to the planning, encroachment on roadsides, flooding, sanitation, limited landscape. The town will regularly propagate and mobilize the people to well implement the movement "Building cultural lifestyle - urban civilization and building urban civilization streets". In the process of urban development, it is necessary to improve living standards of the population, create good conditions for people to access and fully enjoy accomplishments in the construction and development of urban areas.

In particular, Party committees continue to thoroughly develop and implement programs to implement the town Party Resolution 2020-2025; continue to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and lifestyle, combined with the implementation of the 4th Central Resolution; further improve the effectiveness of management and administration of the government at all levels from town to the grassroots.

According to Mr. Nguyen, in order to perform well the tasks in 2021, it requires the determination, high effort and consensus of the entire Party and people. Therefore, at the year beginning, all levels, branches, Fatherland Fronts and unions from town to grassroots need to improve the sense of responsibility, initiative, creativity, thorough exploitation of existing advantages and new opportunities to organize the successful implementation of socio-economic development objectives and tasks, defense security, and political system construction set out in 2021.
