Party development among young workers

On January 27th, Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to assess the program of improving the quality of party member development for tenure 2020-2025. Attending and directing the meeting was Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee.

According to report of Provincial Party Committee, over the past 5 years, Binh Duong admitted 555 party members of private business sector, including 5 business managers, 457 workers engaging directly in production. The current number of party members in private business sector is 2,400. Although exceeding and meeting the target, compared to the specific development process of Binh Duong province with over 1 million workers coming from outside the province, it is modest.  

At the meeting, leaders of Party committees of provincial agencies and enterprises’ bloc, provincial Labor Confederation, and provincial Youth Union made suggestions on tasks and solutions to improve the quality of party member development, especially party development among young workers, in private enterprises. Participants proposed solutions to strengthen propagation and encourage party membership development at enterprises.  

Mr. Vo noted that in the coming time, Party committees of provincial agencies and enterprises’ bloc, provincial Labor Federation and provincial Youth Union needed to continue the development of Party membership in private enterprises, to innovate propagation method among youths and workers in order to develop new party members to meet provincial targets. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to methods of young worker gathering at lodging houses and residential areas to encourage elite persons join the Party.
