Patient 1843, student of TDMU discharged from hospital

Provincial  Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that the patient 1843 - a student of Thu Dau Mot University (TDMU) has recovered and been discharged from the hospital after testing negative for the coronavirus three times. Previously, the patients 1886, 1887 and 1957, who were three mothers and children, also recovered, was discharged from the hospital and transferred to Phu Giao district’s Health Center to continue making quarantine as stipulated.

Thus, 5 Covid-19 cases in the community, in An Binh commune’s Ca Na hamlet in Phu Giao district, and in Thu Dau Mot city, have so far recovered and been discharged from the hospital. The patient 1980,  a rice delivery staff in Ehome4 apartment building, is still being treated at provincial General Hospital.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health, on March 6, also announced that Binh Duong had recorded one more imported Covid-19 case, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases in the province to 37. The patient 2494, an expert from Taiwan (China), entered Vietnam on February 19 via the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. He was quarantined immediately after the entry and had the second positive COVID-19 test result.
