Patrols to ensure security and order, Covid-19 prevention and control strengthened

On the afternoon of July 14, Thu Dau Mot city’s Police Agency deployed their troops and increased patrols twice a day in key areas in order to ensure security-order and strictly comply with the Prime Minister’s Directive 16 for Covid-19 prevention and control amid the complicated developments of the pandemic.

Accordingly, the city’s Police Agency has established 2 teams to carry out patrols to ensure order-security, traffic safety and Covid-19 prevention and control. These patrols aim to promptly handle complicated situations related to the pandemic, street robberies, subjects with gathering, causing public disorder, and other violations linking to the pandemic; proactively detect people traveling from pandemic-hit areas into the city to take appropriate measures to check, guide and handle.

The patrol team will also check and handle business establishments that violate the Prime Minister’s Directive 16 in the city; proactively detect and strictly handle teenagers who gather for  illegal racing, causing public disorder...

In addition, the patrol team will be proactive to coordinate with the police forces of the wards to promptly detect and handle violations of traffic order, safety and urban order, especially violations of regulations on social surveillance under the Prime Minister’s Directive 16.
