Paying gift visit to children with extremely difficult circumstances

Early September 13, leaders of Thuan An city organized a delegation to visit and donate gifts to children with extremely difficult circumstances at social protection centers and facilities in the city.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and offered gifts for children at Thuan An Center for Children with Disabilities in Lai Thieu ward; Bo De Dao Trang Pagoda in Binh Chuan ward; Tu Tam Social Protection Shelter in Vinh Phu ward; provincial Social Protection Center in An Thanh ward; Bung Charity Shelter in Hung Dinh ward and Lam Anh Social Protection Center in An Thanh ward. In each visiting place, the delegation presented cash gifts between VND 3million and VND5 million together gifts, consisting of cakes and candies worth approximately VND 1 million.

*On the same morning, Thuan An city’s Youth Union, in collaboration with the city’s Division of Education and Training organized a gift-giving event for the local orphans. Each gift package included cakes, candies and a lantern valued at VND 300,000. The city’s Youth Union and Young Pioneer Organization also presented gifts to 100 students from the local charity classes.

*On the morning of September 13, provincial Blind Association, in collaboration with provincial Children's Protection Fund, awarded scholarships to students with difficult circumstances in 2024.

Accordingly, the program presented 58 gift packages to children with extremely difficult circumstances across the province. Each gift package was valued at VND 800,000 (including VND 400,000 in cash, a box of mooncakes, and a lantern). Additionally, a scholarship in the form of a bicycle worth VND 3 million was awarded to Doan Hong Cuong, a high school student from Ben Cat city.
