PCBD strives to reach 16.753 billion kWh of commercial electricity in 2023

Le Hong Khanh, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Power Company (PCBD) said that it is forecasted that the province’s demand for electricity in 2023 will continue recovering and increasing compared to 2022, especially during the upcoming dry season. The power sector needs to make great efforts and coordination from the locality to speed up the implementation of power projects in order to  comprehensively complete targets in 2023 and ensure adequate electricity supply to promote the local socio-economic development. Accordingly, PCBD’s plan set out in 2023 is to implement 16.753 billion kWh of commercial electricity, an increase of 8.14% compared to 2022.

It is known that PCBD's total electricity sales in 2022 was more than VND 28.44trillion, up 9.8% compared to 2021. PCBD also developed another 28,583 clients, bringing the total number of existing clients to 576,956.
