Peak action campaign on Tet food safety launched

Under provincial People’s Committee’s Plan No.4046/KH/UBND, provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DoARD) has just launched a peak action campaign of the Food Safety and Hygiene Year in the field of agriculture, beginning from Jan.to Feb.2016.
The campaign aims to assess, control and create obvious changes on assuring food safety for agro-fishery products. Reportedly, the rate of test samples on pesticide, chemical residues in vegetables and meat exceeding the permitted level reduced by 30% compared to the first nine months of 2015.
