People's Council of Bau Bang district conduct focal supervision on the organizational structure and operation of the commune authorities

From April 19 to 27, the Standing People's Council of Bau Bang district organized a focal monitoring delegation on the organizational structure and operation of the commune authority in the district for the 2021 – 2026 tenure. Mr. Luu Van Long, Deputy Chairman of the district People's Council as the head of the supervisory delegation.

The monitoring contents include supervision of personnel structure of People's Councils and People's Committees of communes and townships for the 2021 – 2026 tenure, the situation of implementation of tasks by local authorities in accordance with laws from the beginning of the term to the time of supervision, the process of meeting preparation and convening the meetings and the quality of documents passed at regular meetings of the People's Councils of communes and townships, the coordination of the Standing People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee in preparing regular meetings of the People's Councils of communes and townships, the use of funds, payment and settlement of funds in the operation of the commune-level People's Council, the ensured conditions and operating regimes for delegates of the commune-level People's Council according to the regulations.

At the monitoring meeting, the district People's Council's supervisory delegation conducts fact-check documents of regular meetings of the local People's Council and reply to comments and remove obstacles for the commune People's Council to grasp and properly implement processes, procedures and provisions of the laws.

According to the monitoring content, the Standing Committee of the district People's Council will assess the organization and operations of the commune-level authority for the 2021 - 2026 tenure to ensure compliance with regulations; at the same time, they properly evaluate the actual activities and quality of the meetings of the commune People's Council; thereby, giving direction and guidance in accordance with the provisions of laws.
