On the morning of November 3, Binh Duong provincial Mineral Industry Association held its first Congress of 2023-2028 tenure with the attendance of Mai Hung Dung, Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments and branches.

The Congress took steps to improve operational functions such as electing the Association's Executive Committee, approving the association's charter and passing the congress resolution for the 2023-2028 term. Accordingly, the association will focus on strengthening cooperation and building relationships with organizations and associations of domestic and foreign careers during the term, develop relationships in industry support projects, strengthen trade promotion, promote brands, protect members' economic interests through consulting and support activities.

Binh Duong provincial Mineral Industry Association was established on October 25, 2023 with the purpose of uniting members, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members, linking cooperation, and supporting each other economical techniques in the fields of production, business, and mineral exploitation. In the province, 43 enterprises are currently operating in the field of mineral exploitation and processing with 55 mine sites with a total licensed area of more than 1,460 hectares.
