Phu Giao district provides necessities to 300 people living in hardship

With the support of Binh Duong provincial Red Cross, donors and benefactors, the Red Cross of Phu Giao district has just organized a "zero VND market" to give necessities to disadvantaged households across the district.

The fair gave 300 free shopping vouchers worth VND 1 million to people in difficult circumstances, members of the Association of the Blind. They use vouchers to go to the market and receive a variety of necessities such as milk, rice, fish sauce, cooking oil, instant noodles, vegetables, etc. The total value of the market fair is VND 300 million.

At the market fair, the district Red Cross received resources to support the construction of 2 Red Cross houses for people in need with housing; each house is worth VND 80 million donated by Huynh Huu Tin from Thu Dau Mot city.
