Phu Giao district to construct Red Cross backed charitable house for family of hardship

On March 20, the Red Cross of Phu Giao district held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a Red Cross house for a family with housing difficulties in the district.

Accordingly, the house was built for the family of Pham Thi Hong Nhung at Quarter 9 of Phuoc Vinh town. The house has a total area of 70m2 for the construction cost of VND 80 million, which was supported by the district Red Cross and Huynh Huu Tin from Phu Hoa ward of Thu Dau Mot city. The district Red Cross also cooperated with the 60th Special Forces Battalion and the 271st Infantry Regiment to support labor days during the construction process to reduce part of the costs during the house construction process.
