Phu Giao district veteran society disburses over VND7.3bn for poor members

Implementing the program of “Veterans help each other to reduce poverty and make wealth legitimately”, in the first quarter of 2015 Phu Giao district veteran society considered and disbursed more than VND7.310bn from the Bank for Social Policies for 306 membership households to develop home-based economy.
In addition, in the same quarter the district veteran society set up 8 thrift teams with the total value of VND318mn, mobilized cadres and members to establish a fund of economic development to offer loans for needy members.
