Phu Giao encourages all people to practice swimming and prevent drowning

Early June 7, Phu Giao district’s People's Committee held a ceremony calling for all people to practice swimming and prevent drowning by 2024.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Tran Hong Dung, Member of the district’s Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Phu Giao district’s People's Committee requested all-level authorities and sectors to organize many propaganda activities to raise the community’s awareness of the effects of learning to swim on improving health and preventing drowning among children.

After the launching ceremony, a swimming tournament also took place with the following contents: freestyle swimming, breaststroke swimming for men and women, with 25m distance; freestyle swimming and breaststroke swimming for men and women, with 25m distance; freestyle swimming and breaststroke swimming for men and women, with 25m distance.
