In the first half of this year, Phu Giao district considered and disbursed over VND6.6bln in loan for 300 poor households to develop homebased business; organized 40 vocational-oriented classes for rural laborers and demobees; verified and disbursed VND650mln in loan from the Program 120 for 33 projects; introduced jobs at district-based companies for 567 laborers.

 

Also during the time, the district built and donated 69 unity and charity houses worth more than VND1.5bln for poor people. The above efforts have so far contributed to reduce the ratio of poor households herein to 5.56%.
