Phu Giao proactively prevents pestilent insects in agricultural production

Since early this year, Phu Giao district’s agricultural sector has organized 2 classes on producing safe vegetables under VietGap standards, 22 classes on how to grow, tend rubber, pepper, cashew and fruit trees and prevent pestilent insects on them for the local farmers.

The sector has also teamed up with the district’s Plant Protection sub-Department to open 4 classes on controlling over fertilizer and pesticide after being used to protect the environment; organized 12 integrated pest management (IPM) points, thereby helping farmers take measures to better tend various plants, contributing to minimizing the local area having plants infected by pestilent insects in comparison with the corresponding period last year.
