Phu Giao’s 2nd conference honoring blood donors 2016 held
Early June 20, Phu Giao district’s Steering Board of Volunteer Blood Donation organized the 2nd conference honoring blood donors 2016.
The whole district now has a total of 37 clubs on volunteer blood donation with 670 members and 12 clubs on reserve blood donation with 120 members. Thanks to propaganda work well realized, there was an annual increase in the number of blood donors over the past time. Particularly, the district collected 773 units of blood in 2013, 1,035 units of blood in 2014, 1,326 units of blood in 2015 and 606 units of blood in the first half of 2016…
On this occasion, the district’s People’s Committee honored 108 individuals with 3 times of blood donation. The organizers also honored and presented gifts to 65 individuals and 9 families with 5-10 times of blood donation.
