Phu Giao’s total value of agro-forestry-fishery production reaches nearly VND3.57trillion

In 2016, Phu Giao district’s total value of agro-forestry-fishery production was estimated at approximately VND3.57trillion, a year-on-year increase of 5.53%.

The district’s production structure between cultivation and animal husbandry was shifted in the right direction with the respective proportion of 69.6% and 30.4%. Meanwhile, the district’s total cultivation area was more than 40,347 hectares. There were also nearly 1.7 million heads of poultry and livestock.

According to the district’s People’s Committee, the local increase of total livestock and poultry herd was due to stable prices, epidemic diseases curbed well. And locals focused on animal husbandry to improve their lives.
