Phu Giao’s youth actively get involved in voluntary activities

Youth Union members in Phu Giao district actively took part in voluntary activities for the sake of the community over the past five years.

As a result, they mobilized donors to support nearly VND800mln for policy beneficiary households; provided free medical check-ups for more than 3,000 needy cases; built and handed over 15 houses of compassion to poor youth; awarded more than 300 scholarships worth more than VND150mln to poor-but-excellent pupils; organized useful playgrounds for pupils…

They also actively teamed up with the local police and militia to maintain social order and security; engaged in activities of environmental protection, including carrying out over 100 works on dredging canals, tidying up streets, upgrading and building more than 20 km of rural roads…with a total value of more than VND2bln.
