Phu Giao strives to reach VND 84 million in average income per capita

Early January 10, Phu Giao district’s People's Committee held a conference to deploy the local plan on socio-economic development, nation defense and security for 2024, in attendance of Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

In 2023, the district's agricultural production value reached more than VND 5.81 trillion, an increase of 6.68% compared to 2022. The district continued seeing strong development in high-tech agriculture. To date, the entire district has had 704 high-tech agricultural production establishments with a total area of ​​over 1,200 hectares...In 2024, the district will strives to gain  VND84 million in average income per capita; maintain all 10 communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards, 1 commune meeting model new-style rural standards. The rate of the local poor households under the province's criteria will reduce to 0.3%-0.5%...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Danh suggested that in 2024, the district needs to review recommendations and instructions from authorities to strictly and effectively implement targets and tasks in the spirit of recovery and socio-economic development; effectively deploy State budget revenue and expenditure; well realize social welfare work...
