Phu Loi ward People’s Committee grants gifts to relatives of local dioxin victims.

After nearly 10 years of separation of ward, Phu Loi faced many obstacles, owing to its low start. However, Phu Loi ward authority and people have reached many big achievements such as production shift from agriculture to trade and service, handicraft as set out by the ward Resolution.

Marking development of economy, culture and society over the past years, Phu Loi ward now wins a remarkable change on all areas. On capital source of the State, Phu Loi ward enjoys investment projects in schools, infrastructure facilities. Specifically, the ward now has new schools such as Doan Thi Lien pre-school, Phu Loi primary school, Nguyen Viet Xuan secondary school and more.

“Since its separation, Phu Loi ward faced shortage of material facilities of schooling in the first days but thanks to great care from local administration, Phu Loi ward now develops strongly. Notably, Phu Loi ward now attracts numerous people from other localities to settle down for a long time. Phu Loi’s development is proven by high storey buildings, factories, companies  bringing stable jobs for local people. It is the greatest joy that Phu Loi ward people enjoy”, Do Thi Thu Ha, the resident in quarter 9 said.

Phu Loi ward now has 1,315 households involving in trade and service fields, 100 households in industry area and 297 ones in agriculture. The ward has nearly 150 companies under operation, placing jobs for thousands of laborers.

With such economic development, the local rate of poor households declines sharply over the past 5 years. Therefore, local people’s living standard is improved significantly. In addition, the local administration built 4 gratitude houses, repaired 14 other houses for local privileged people, surpassing targets entrusted by the local party committee.

At present, Phu Loi is focusing on building urban infrastructure, improving national defense and security and more.

Eyeing the “Phu Loi cam thu” day, Phu Loi ward residents join positively in emulation movements, contributing to complete the set Resolutions.

Nguyen Thi Truc Phuong, vice chairwoman of Phu Loi ward People’s Committee said that in order to reach the above results, local agencies, sectors and mass bodies have actively applied and concretized the ward Party committee’s resolutions, plans and set out  proper measures to promote its advantages while local people have made greater efforts to cooperate with local administration to build a stable life and join positively in local activities.
