According to Mr. Tin, this product is totally handmade, from shaping, glazing to carving patterns... Notably, this ceramic ottoman is burnt at 1,200°C within a carefully calculated time to generate a high-quality, durable and beautiful product. Mr. Tin hoped that this ceramic ottoman will soon conquer foreign customers, because these customers ask for high durability and aesthetics. The most valuable feature of this product is the enamel formulated according to a secret recipe that he has researched for years.

Ceramic ottoman product of Phuoc Du Long Company was voted as provincial typical industrial rural products 2016

According to experts, high-quality ceramic products must meet all art aesthetic elements (including visual, colored enamel), and durability. Currently, the domestic ceramic industry is facing a fierce competition with China and Thailand. If we do not innovate technology and improve production level, we will not be capable of competing with our rivals. To Binh Duong Province, ceramic and porcelain industry has a centuries-old history with experienced artisans, which will be the inspiration for future generations. However, to achieve this success, Phuoc Du Long Company and Mr. Tin experienced many ups and downs.

Failures lead to success

In 1993, when he was 20, Mr. Tin inherited ceramic kiln from his family. Initially, due to lack of glazing recipe, the first batch was a scrap heap. Then he could not recover a large amount of trade receivable. Not being discouraged, he determined to start over. This time, with his experiences, he was more and more daring and bravery in making decisions. From a small production facility, his kiln became Phuoc Du Long Company with hundreds of employees.

In 2006, Phuoc Du Long Company pioneered to use gas kiln for burning big-size ceramic products to replace the traditional method using wood and damaging the environment. This new method cost him tens of billion VND. This time, he failed, because the gas kiln did not achieve the desired result, and the company must spend billions of VND to perfect the technology. Then he invested in a gas kiln to burn ceramic with 120m3 capacity, which was the largest size in the province at that time. He succeeded. Their products have high quality, beautiful and diverse designs, and competitive prices. This kiln model has also been replicated by many ceramic companies in the province...

Along with the prize of provincial typical industrial rural product 2016, Phuoc Du Long Company obtained dozens of other prestigious prize. Due to brave and assertive decisions of Mr. Tin and all employees in the company, the name of Phuoc Du Long Company is spreading; Phuoc Du Long ceramic and porcelain products are exported to dozens of country around the world. The most important thing is that the company has created stable jobs and incomes for hundreds of employee, and contributed to preserving and developing a traditional craft of the province.
