Phuoc Sang marks 20th anniversary

After 20 years of development, Phuoc Sang commune’s Party, government and people have spared no efforts to rise up with the annual agricultural production value increasing by 8%-15%. The local economic structure has reached a positive shift with agriculture accounting for 75% and trade-services accounting for 25%.

The whole commune has so far existed 44 poor households under the province’s 2014 poverty line. By the end of 2013, the average income per capita was VND22mln. There were 99.5% and 100% of the local households in use of power and clean water, respectively.

The commune’s traffic system was also upgraded and expanded with 39 roads of 46km. There were two nursery and primary schools recognized as the first-degree national standard ones. Besides, the town fulfilled 10 out of 19 criteria of the new rural construction program…

On this occasion, 20 outstanding collectives and individuals were awarded the certificates of merit of the district’s People’s Committee. 42 other collectives and individuals also received the certificates of merit from the communal People’s Committee for their contributions to the commune’s construction and development cause over the past twenty years.
