Pivotal bailiff regulations eyes delight

Late May 5, the central government’s inspection delegation of the pivotal bailiff regulation implementation had a working session on the same in the province by March 25, 2015. Receiving and working with the delegation was Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, member of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee Standing Board and Chair of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee together with leadership of departments, sectors, and bailiff office representatives.

In general, the pivotal implementation has assured great results, affecting organizations, agencies, the people and the whole society. As a result, 4 bailiff offices have documented 743 bailiff certificates, serviced documents and requests of courts and civil law enforcement of 7,716 cases, and endorsed enforcement conditions of 62 cases. Over VND 1.9 billion has been collected from such services.

Bailiff activities have initially reduced the burden of courts and civil law enforcement while offering additional legal measures for the people to protect their legal rights and benefits in civil transactions and prosecution progress.

Mr. Nguyen Son, Deputy Tribunal Chair of Supreme People’s Court and Head of the Inspection Delegation, highly appreciated the bailiff implementation in the province for the past time; however, information dissemination should be paid more attention as many are not so aware of the bailiff activities.

For the time to come, information dissemination regarding the bailiff activities should boosted while local authorities are required to facilitate bailiff activities. The enforcement units and courts should strictly enact bailiff related legal documents. The sectors should coordinate in right track of legal regulations and boost up supervision of bailiff activities in a bid to improve legal regulations of bailiff for the time to come.
