On August 5th, Department of Construction approved “Project of housing supporting for people contributing to the revolutionary in Binh Duong 2013” plan. Accordingly, Department of Construction will cooperate with related authorities, mass bodies to complete this project and submit to provincial People’s Committee from August 27th to 30th 2013; cooperate with Binh Duong Newspaper, provincial Television to disseminate housing supporting policy for contributors.The governmental decision defined, eligible supported households were recognized by authorities, including: people involving in revolutionary activities before January 1st 1945, people involving in revolutionary activities from January 1st 1945 to uprising day in August 1945, martyr’s families, heroic Vietnamese mothers, people’s armed forces Heroes, Labor heroes in wartime, war invalids, policy beneficiaries as war invalid, sick soldiers, soldiers infected by toxic chemicals, soldiers arrested by enemies, soldiers of national liberation, defense and international obligations, people helping the revolutionary; households living in temporary houses or having badly damaged houses (including households previously supported by different policies) with level: have to demolish to build new houses, have to repair frames, walls and replace roofs. The State budget will support VND40 mln each household for cases of building new houses; VND20 mln each household for cases of repairing frames, walls and replacing roofs. Supported contributors must have permanent residence at supported houses before valid day of this decision. After new construction or repair, new or renovated houses must have at least 30m2 of using area (or smaller but not less than 24m2 regarding to single households); ensure “3 firm” (firm floor, firm frame-wall, firm roof).Reported by To Tam - Translated by Ngoc Huynh
