Planning project for Dau Tieng district until 2040 announced

On the morning of April 19, People's Committee of Dau Tieng district held a conference to announce the construction planning project of Dau Tieng district until 2040. The conference was attended by Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; and leaders of some departments, branches of the province.

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Phuong Linh, Chairman of the district People's Committee, said that the Dau Tieng district construction planning project is divided into five development zones, based on strengths, available potential and financial resources of each region. In urban development, the district focuses on Dau Tieng town area, aims to achieve class-four urban criteria by 2025. Thanh Tuyen, Minh Hoa, Long Hoa communes strive to achieve class-five urban areas, and at the same time develop urban areas of Thanh An, An Lap, Long Tan, Dinh Hiep.

The district's tourism development focuses on planning for the development of four major tourist destinations: Dau Tieng reservoir area; Saigon riverside area; Thi Tinh riverside area, Thi Tinh dam; Can Nom reservoir area. The industrial production sector continues to deploy two industrial parks that have planned policies. In the field of agricultural production, the district focus on two high-tech agricultural areas in Long Hoa and Minh Tan communes. At the same time, to enhance the development of specialized citrus tree growing areas in the Saigon River, Thi Tinh River areas and reservoirs, canals and streams in the area, transforming the crop structure; develop concentrated livestock farming areas in Minh Thanh commune... Regional traffic is planned to develop in both North-South and East-West directions...
