Policies on social welfare implemented

According to Phu Giao district’s People's Committee, in 2022, the local work of taking care of policy beneficiaries, revolutionary contributors, poor households, children, supporting cases affected by Covid-19 pandemic and workers at lodging facilities was done thoughtfully and opportunely under regulations.

Especially, the district supported nearly VND 81 billion for the above-mentioned subjects. In addition, the district built and repaired 41 “great unity” and gratitude houses for the local revolutionary contributors, poor and near-poor households.

During the year, the district’s Bank for Social Policies also disbursed nearly VND 118 billion in loan for nearly 3,000 social policy beneficiaries. Among them, 88 poor, near-poor, and out-of-poor households got VND4.3billion in loan for home-based economic development.
