Poor people in Phu Giao get loans to develop home based business

Since early this year, Phu Giao district’s Steering Board for the Poverty Reduction and Job Creation Program has disbursed VND2.7bln in loan for 115 poor households to develop home based business, lifting the total outstanding loans for  the poor herein up more than VND43.2bln.

 The district has also built and handed over 41 unity and charity houses with a total expense of more than VND1.2bln for the poor; joined hands with province-based businesses to open 10 vocational training classes for 408 rural laborers; considered and disbursed VND780mln in job creation loan for 39 households and generated jobs for 79 local laborers.
