PPC to approve contents submitted Provincial People’s Council’s mid-year meeting 2016

On Jun 21, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of PPC, chaired the 102^nd PPC’s meeting to approve the preliminary report on public investment in the first 6 months of 2016, adjustments to the public investment plan 2016 and some reports to Provincial People’s Council’s mid-year meeting 2016.

Some reports to Provincial People’s Council’s mid-year meeting 2016 included: adjustments to the public investment plan 2016; authorizing Permanent People's Council to assess, comment, and decide public investment policy within the authority of Provincial People’s Council; commenting on pre-feasibility study of rapid bus route of Binh Duong New City - Suoi Tien. 

Regarding adjustment to the public investment plan 2016, total adjusted capital in 2016 was VND6,432 billion, which was the same as the plan of early this year. The report on authorizing Permanent People's Council to assess, comment, and decide public investment policy within the authority of Provincial People’s Council said that Provincial People’s Council authorized Permanent People's Council to assess, comment, and decide public investment policy, medium-term and annual public investment plan under the jurisdiction of the Provincial People's Council.

The report on commenting on pre-feasibility study of rapid bus route of Binh Duong New City - Suoi Tien said that the project aimed to connect smoothly, shorten the journey between urban arterial roads in Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City; build up a typical model of traffic along the Metro. The project went through the center of TDM City, Thuan An Town, Di An Town with a total investment of VND1,827 billion funded by ODA loans from Japan.

At the meeting, leaders of departments and agencies discussed and commented on contents submitted to Provincial People’s Council’s mid-year meeting. Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of PPC, asked leaders of departments, agencies and People's Committee of districts, towns and city to study, give opinions, and make suggestions to finish the report.
