Practical "Zero-dong market" supports needy people
On May 16, Thu Dau Mot City Red Cross Society (RCS) organized a "Zero-VND Market" to support people having difficult circumstances in the area. Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of the Provincial Red Cross, attended the ceremony.

To help alleviate some of the difficulties in their lives, the City Red Cross Association provided gifts to 100 people from poor households, disadvantaged families, and lonely elderly individuals living in the area. Each gift, valued at 500,000 VND, included items such as milk, rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, vegetables, and fruits.
The funding for this initiative was mobilized by the City Red Cross from both individuals and organizations. This effort is part of the meaningful humanitarian activities organized by the City Red Cross Society in response to Humanitarian Month 2025. It aims to care for the lives of disadvantaged people and contribute to the effective implementation of social security work in the city.
