Physician Quach Hoang My: We do not have airport, just one internal waterway but we should never be neglected of international and domestic visitors from infected regions. The case is special in Binh Duong Province when plenty of foreign experts come and leave. The management should be tight at entry. Monitoring regime shall be applied to any suspected cases. Meantime, the province has maintained a inter-sector team to control the possible infection from poultries, aquacultural creatures, and cattles. This May 16, a training workshop shall be held for medical officials at provincial and district level to be pre-emptive of outbreak prevention. We should not be perflexed if an outbreak may occur. Reporter: What are your recommendations to the public regarding awareness of preventing and fighting A influenzas? Physician Quach Hoang My: Poultry-host A virus is dangerous for its mutation capacity and posibility of transmission to human. Thus, we should be well-awared of this. It is recommended that we should keep personal and environmental hygiene; hands should be frequently washed with soap; health should be reinforced, control of exposure to slaughtered poultries and cattles should be maintained. Upon symptoms of more than 38 degree Celsius fever, coughing, chest pain, hard breath, headache, tiresome, etc. after exposure to suspected infected sources. Patients with suspected A influenzas shall be treated free of charges. So be protective, wear your masks and come to the nearest hospital for timely treatment. Never be too worried and too neglected.
