Preparing for a safe and serious graduation exam

About one week later, students of the 12th grade will take the graduation exam. In order to supply more information to students and parents, we has a discussion with Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Education & Training Mr. Dang Thanh Sang regarding the finals. 
12th grade students of Tan Phuoc Khanh high school (Tan Uyen district) prepared for the coming graduation exam - Sir, how is the preparation of the graduation exam of 2012 - 2013 school year at provincial high schools?- Right from the beginning of the school year, the Department has ordered high schools to adhere to the curriculum published by the Ministry of Education & Training with the motto: Teach properly, sufficiently and carefully, so that we can have an effective training. Some schools have trained for subjects of the final from the beginning of the second term. However, the Department required that only schools finishing the official curriculum regarding graduated subjects can give training course. On the other hand, schools also have to complete the curriculum involving remaining subjects as well as are not allow cutting off the program. - Sir, in order to improve the quality of graduation exam, what has the educational sector implemented?- For preparation, students should review and supplement knowledge. Multiple-choice tests will comprise many questions dispersing all over the program; avoid cramming learning parts based on guessing. In this school year, the Department had the guideline on the early training from the start so as to correspond with the new situation. The optimal training materials are textbooks of the mainly 12th grade’s curriculum. At the beginning of December, the Department also organized training courses for all teachers of 12th grade to prepare students for t an effective final. With the exam question collection and guidance, it has been easier for teachers and students to make the training. This also demonstrates the high determination of the sector to enhance the final’s quality. - Can you tell us the plans, solutions and preparations for the graduation exam this year?- We divided high schools and continuing educational centers into 10 groups. Exam locations are accommodated adequately and safely. 17 invigilating boards, 332 exam rooms for 6,581 high school students and 58 rooms for 1,384 supplementary high school students are arranged. Invigilators are rotated by 100% across the province, examiners are high qualified, responsible teachers. Plans, arrangements, board establishment of exam paper duplicating, invigilating, grading as well as coordination between related sectors were carried out. The Department has just organized the second term examination with the general exam questions having contents and structure of graduated exams to evaluate the preparation of students. Then schools can speed up the training, consolidate knowledge for students to attend the final exam.- What are your advices for students and parents on the coming graduation exam?- Firstly, parents should take care of your children; simultaneously cooperate with schools in training before the exam. In fact, almost exam questions of previous years released by the Ministry were at the average level and not so difficult to students. Thus students learning enough and satisfactorily textbook programs will potentially to be success. However, students should not be neglectful of training for the final exam. - Thank you!
