Presents given for Vietnamese heroic mothers

*1,963 scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

Under the “Paying debt of gratitude” work, Di An town’s Red Cross Society and Labor Union visited and presented gifts worth VND300,000 each, including sugar, milk and cash, to three Vietnamese heroic mothers.

*After three-year implementation of the “Each organization, each individual should stick to a humanitarian address” campaign, TDM town’s Red Cross Society awarded 1,963 scholarships and 108 bicycles worth VND683mln to poor-but-excellent pupils. The society also mobilized organizations and donors to offer help to 1,125 needy people with more than VND745mln.

Also during the time, the society maintained a loan-rotating group with VND27.5bln mobilized for 171,638 poor people, helping them develop homebased business.
