Press agencies expected to contribute ideas to Binh Duong leaders

On December 26, Provincial Party Committee for Propaganda and Education cooperated with Provincial People's Committee and Provincial Journalists’ Association to hold the fourth quarter briefing on the socio-economic situation in 2018. Attending was Le Huu Phuoc, Standing Party Member, Head of Provincial Committee for Propaganda and Education; leaders of provincial departments and agencies, and representatives of over 20 press agencies inside and outside the province.

The report at the conference showed that in the fourth quarter of 2018, provincial press agencies continued to keep abreast of the principles, goals, information and timely propagation of the political, cultural and social, national defense and security situation of the whole country and the province. The provincial press continued to promote the spirit of innovation, creativity and positive with all levels and sectors in the province to well implement propaganda and mobilization of the people. Continuing to promote propagation, thoroughly grasping the Party's guidelines, bringing Party resolutions at all levels and local action programs into life, especially the Central Resolution 6,7,8, results of the 20th Provincial Party Executive Committee conference, the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW, the 6th session – the 14^th National Assembly, and the 8th session – the 9^th Provincial Party Council, socio-economic development results in 2018, important international events hosted by the province, such as: WTA, Horasis 2018, achievements in national defense, security, foreign affairs, welfare, social welfare of the province ...

Press agencies outside the province continued to have interesting and timely articles and reports on Party construction, political system, administrative reform and socio-economic and cultural development, defense - security and political events, big events took place in the province, and promptly reflected law violations in some localities and units in some fields: land management, construction, health, education, traffic safety, environment... At the conference, leaders of departments and agencies also answered questions of press agencies.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Phuoc proposed that press agencies inside and outside the province would continue to contribute ideas to the province, especially in the struggle and criticism of bureaucratic and stagnant expressions in the governance, limitations and inadequacies of some guidelines and policies; negative behaviors, corruption, group interests, lack of accountability in leadership, management and service of people and businesses in order to contribute to protecting the law and strengthening people's beliefs...
